Metcon Class


Metcon Class – Classes run similar to regular CF wods: one hour, includes warmup, and set up of workout. Movements in Metcon class are geared more towards those looking for less weight and less high skill. You’re not going to see heavy snatches and muscle ups in these classes. This program is designed to be more aerobic based in nature, but will also include HIIT principles, tabata, and an array of methodologies gained by our staff through the years. This class is similar to a bootcamp style class.

We are proud to offer our Metcon program at CrossFit Lakewood Ranch. This program, run by Coach Lee Ann Gordon, is designed to work with your daily CrossFit WODs to improve your strength, stamina, and overall fitness. We recommend 2 days of Metcon classes, which could be fine for some people, but then 2-3 additional days of CrossFit is fine too.
