AaronCrossFit, Workout of the Day

For five weeks, for five workouts, any and every athlete in the world has the opportunity to participate in an event that is the precursor to Regionals and then the CrossFit Games where the best of the best will throw down on the big stage for big prizes in July.

This is something open to EVERYONE! Each week, the announced workout will have a Scaled & Rx level. Now you see where our class programming fits in!

The Open is something that may push you outside what you think you can do. Some folks will hit PRs and others will get their first double-under, pull-up, toes to bar during the Open. I promise you’re going to do better than you think you can!I really encourage you to watch the video above to get an idea what it is all about. 

Here are 3 reasons why everyone should do the CF Open:
1. Yes, you are good enough!
Your body is going to take your further than your mind can think. You are going to do more than you think you are capable.

2. It gives you an appreciation for the best of the best.
During the Open workouts, you get a rare opportunity to do the same exact workouts during the same week as the best Crossfitters in the world.

3. It’s fun!
No, really, it is. At our gym, we dedicate every Friday to the Open workouts. This year, we will be hosting other gyms to join us for a Friday night for a night of Crossfit & community.
