Wednesday 10/4/2017 (Hero Workout this Saturday @ CF Havoc)

One of our fellow community members lost their life this weekend. Manatee County Corrections Deputy, and CrossFit Havoc member Shaun Feverston, age 28, was killed in a traffic crash on his way home from work on Thursday morning, September 28.

Deputy Feverston was a four-year veteran of the agency, and was one of three family members serving with the Manatee County Sheriff’s Office. His brother is a patrol deputy and his father is the head of the fingerprint unit.

This Saturday, CrossFit Havoc will be having a memorial workout for Shaun. According to Jim, owner of Havoc, “if you knew Shaun, you knew how great of a guy he was, it would be great to have everyone show up and throw down in his honor. The workout will kick off at 9 am. If you plan on attending please show up at least 15 minute prior. Thank you.”

We would like to honor our fellow community member and a member of our local law enforcement by attending this memorial workout this Saturday at CrosssFit Havoc. Therefore, CrossFit Lakewood Ranch will be closed this Saturday and we will be at Havoc to show our support and pay our respect.
