Today’s workout involves traveling burpees! It’s exactly what you think it is — covering the distance by doing burpee broad jumps. This workout will build you a strong core, because those core muscles need to be strong as a rock to get you through hundreds of burpees. You’ll also be building power as your muscles exert maximum force in short intervals of time, with the goal of increasing both power and speed. You’ll focus on learning to move from a muscle extension to a contraction in an explosive manner as you jump  from a plank position into a squat and then you go for the broad jump. Gaining explosive power means you are able to jump further and by that you will cover more distance.
Make sure you dress appropriately — do not wear your best Lulu! Knee pads and gloves are recommended too. Stay hydrated and eat a proper meal before and after.
