Now that the CrossFit Open is over for this year, hopefully you all have found some things that you are good at, and also some things that you need to work on. Please use the open as your “report card” of where you are currently at, regardless of overall goals, and use it to help propel you into the next year. I love that CrossFit uses the open to find the fittest in the world to move on to the next stage, and also invites the rest of us to join in. We had some amazing performances this year by people of all ages and genders. Once the final numbers are in we will post more about where everyone finished.
I also hope everyone had a good spring break! It looks like a lot of you were able to get out and about during the past 2 weeks while the kiddos were out of school. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves and are ready to get back into the swing of things. If you fall into this category, or you’ve just been needing a reason to get back in, use this week for that! Following the open we always start a new routine of strength, skills, and WODs. This year is no different. We will be testing some lifts and workouts over the next couple of weeks, so use this as a starting point!
