The Man in the Arena

A lot of people were nervous about competing today. I hope that you all feel differently now, and if not, please re-read the above quote! It is harder to be the one who steps into the arena, lay it all on the line, and be exposed, than it is to sit on the sidelines and judge, or say, “woulda, coulda, shoulda.” This all goes to leaving your ego at the door, just at another level. Today, a lot of members showed what they were made of and it was motivating and inspiring! Everyone did great, represented as a gym and community beautifully, and had a blast in the process!!

Today we will be doing Tessa’s Birthday WOD! Her birthday was on 12/5 and this was the soonest we could work this into the programming. Also, we originally didn’t have a Beyond Rx option, however in yesterday’s competition, Tessa did all 50′ of the handstand walk in the workout UNBROKEN!! So today, we will do extra for that category since that is where she set the bar at! Great job Tess!
