I hope everyone had a great Halloween weekend. Try not to eat all the candy you got this weekend in one sitting. If you want to get rid of the leftover candy you have we will be happy to take it off your hands. We will donate the candy to the troops if you bring us in your leftover goodies. We did the same thing last year and would love to do it again!

I’m really proud of everyone that took part in the Boo Run this past weekend. I know I can speak for anyone who has taken Coach Rachael’s Endurance and say that it helped immensely! I took nearly 5 minutes off my time from last year’s same run. I heard from other people who ran too that they felt A LOT better running.

We also had 4 individuals who ran the New York City Marathon on Sunday. I want to personally congratulate:

Monika, Lorraine, Blair, and Susan for all completing this grueling and long race. You girls should be proud of yourselves!

Rob also completed a half marathon with weekend and Janie another one of her crazy trail runs!

Then, we had a group WOD over at CrossFit Havoc on Saturday.

We had quite an eventful weekend with our members all over the place digging deep and proving that hard work does pay off.

What has CrossFit done for you lately? Not everyone needs to run a marathon or compete in a competition, but I would like to know how CrossFit is making you a better person. If it’s not, then I’m not doing my job! Find something that you want to get out of your time in the gym. Is it one less drink at night? No dessert? A smaller pant size? Understand that it doesn’t matter what your goal is, it’s just about having a goal!
