Over the course of the next month, we are going to be testing various aspects of your fitness. Not only will we perform WODs to test aerobic and anaerobic capacity, but we will also be testing strength as well. Don’t think of these “tests” in the true sense of the word. There is not a passing or failing score. Honestly, I just want you guys and girls to come in and push yourself as hard as you normally do. There’s no reason to stress, do anything different, etc. These are merely baselines for us and for you to measure progress. If, for example, you haven’t been in the gym in a while, it would be foolish to expect a very high level outcome; so don’t have those expectations. These are merely workouts and lifts that we can use to gauge and grow from. If, on the other hand, you feel you’ve been really consistent with training, diet, sleep, etc. then by all means, let it rip!
